Innovative digital banking platform

The Challenge

Create design for multi-channel banking platform. Target audience is millennials who want to explore new opportunities of financial products, use instant payments related to crypto or a combination of fiat and crypto transactions. Design should be simple and intuitive, also be sophisticated and be able to provide any traditional financial services, such as payments, loans, deposits. Access to the necessary information should be as simple as possible and do not take more than 20 seconds.

The Solution

Create design for multi-channel banking platform. Design should be simple and intuitive, also be sophisticated and be able to provide any traditional financial services, such as payments, loans, deposits. Access to the necessary information should be as simple as possible and do not take more than 20 seconds.

Personas building

Images of the target audience were created on the basis of complex portraits of social network users who showed interest in such financial products. Then, specifically for this project, a study was conducted to clarify the preferences of the target audience. During testing of the prototype of the product, valuable feedback was received, as a result, changes were made to the product at the design stage related to its structure in order to better meet the ideal concept of a fintech product for millennials

Market research

Competitive analysis of similar products has shown that now there are not so many products that solve the problems of millennials related to financial services. Market analysis showed that the target audience was unhappy with the current market leaders and the need for greater freedom and banking policy. The target audience does not perceive very many established traditions and wants to interact with the financial product as simply as possible. Millennials see a major problem in the large amount of information that must be provided at the time of registration, and the complicated verification procedure to start using additional financial services or increase limits on operations.

Banking User Interface

The main objective of the interface is to give thousands of years of knowledge the convenience of using the product interface by choosing a bright color scheme that conveys associations with many of the favorite games and services that the target audience uses. Due to this, the product design has become as close as possible to the usual experience of interaction of the target audience. The color scheme of the product is based on the use of soft gradients and Mobile First layout. The content of tabular information was simplified as much as possible and grouped by tabs, which made it possible to elegantly display large amounts of information using small space. Informing users about changes in key indicators of their account occurs through the functional animation of graphs and charts that immediately attract the user’s attention.

Summary

The result of the work was a minimum viable product, which was completely ready for implementation. The product aims to provide high quality interaction with the target audience. High design speed was achieved by focusing on functional design and minimal use of animation. Adaptive design allowed saving the startup budget and working on the release without designing and developing a mobile application.
